Both masters were created at the same time for Multiverse Models. The client wanted copies of the model kit I created in 1:1000 scale that currently sells at the Federations Models web store. I based my model on the re-mastered TOS episodes that include new digital FX for all of the old FX sequences. The TOS episode ‘Charlie X” did not show the Antares, but the re-mastered episode had a brief FX shot of it along side the Enterprise.  Having an assembled kit on hand, it was no problem to copy my own work.

To create the smaller scale masters, I used my model as a starting point and reverse-engineered them to the proper sizes. Here is my model next to the 1:1400 master for size comparison.
